About

A decade of stronger people in North Austin

FitHub CrossFit REP started in 2014 with a simple idea: a gym is worth nothing without the people inside it. Eleven years later we still believe that. We are a community-driven training facility in North Austin, focused on coached group fitness — CrossFit, HYROX, strength training, and conditioning — for adults who want to take their training seriously without taking themselves too seriously.

Our story

We opened our doors in 2014 with a small group of founding members who showed up before sunrise to lift, run, sweat, and figure it out together. There were no mirrors, no chrome, no playlists curated for Instagram. There was a coach, a whiteboard, a pull-up rig, and a shared decision to do hard things.

That decision is still the foundation of everything we do. Programming has gotten smarter. Coaching has gotten sharper. The floor is bigger and the rig holds more athletes. But the core has not changed: structured group training, scaled to where you are, led by people who care whether you progress.

Today FitHub CrossFit REP is one of the most established functional fitness gyms in North Austin. Over 20,000 athletes have walked through these doors. Some stayed two months, some are still here from year one. Every one of them changed something we do.

What we stand for

Three things we will not compromise on

Coaching, not babysitting

Every class is led by a certified coach who watches your reps, cues your positions, and adjusts your loads. Group size is capped on purpose so you do not blend into the room. If your squat is breaking down on rep 8, we are going to tell you.

Programming with intent

Workouts are not random. Strength cycles, conditioning blocks, and skill work are sequenced over weeks and months so you build — instead of just sweating. New athletes scale; veterans push weight. Same hour, same room, different stimulus.

Real community

Nobody finishes alone. The last person on the clock has the whole class cheering them in. People meet here, lift together for years, show up for each other outside the gym. It is the quiet reason most members stay long-term.

How we train

The week is structured. CrossFit classes are the engine — strength, gymnastics, and conditioning blended into 60-minute sessions. HYROX prepares athletes for race day with running and station work. LiftLab runs a six-week strength cycle for people who want to get seriously strong on the barbell. MetCon+ adds focused conditioning. Yoga keeps everyone's tissue ready to keep training.

You can pick the program that fits where you are, and switch as your goals change. None of it is locked in. None of it is one-size-fits-all. Every workout scales — for first-time athletes, for parents fitting fitness around 5 AM, and for competitors chasing a podium.

Who walks in

Built for athletes — even if you do not call yourself one yet

Most of our members did not start as athletes. They started as people who wanted to feel better, move better, and be done with the big-box gym treadmill scroll. Some had never picked up a barbell. Some had not trained in a decade. Some came in already strong and wanted a place to push harder. They all belong here. Walk in once, scale to whatever you can do that day, and let the programming do its work.
